10 years ago, I embarked on my first writing journey. I had no education or formal training in either creative writing or publishing, but I had a dream of being an author, and I was determined to pursue it. Over the last 10 years, I have learned a lot about the writing process and formed many relationships with industry professionals that have made my journey significantly easier than it was in those early years. Especially as a writer with a full-time job.
When I lost my job because of the pandemic, I realized it was an opportunity to focus on doing what I love. That's why I started the business that has grown into johnpaquin.ca. Now, I coach new writers that are struggling--just as I did--to stay motivated, organized, and connected with the resources that will transform them into professionally published authors.
